"Spring Updates: What's New and Exciting in the World of Roman phoenix"

Welcome Back!
Thank goodness for this warm spring weather, am I right? Let’s just do our best to forget today’s obvious error in judgement on Mother Natures part.
What’s new you ask? So much. I cannot wait to spill the beans on some things that are in the works but they’re TOP secret and you know what they say “Don’t count your beans in the bush, they’re better in your hand.”
You know what I mean.
What I can tell you is that I have officially unthawed from this frigid winter weather and I’m
ready to rock. I have a new camera and replaced all of my lenses. I built this fancy pants website you’re reading my blog on with my own two hands too! However, there are two big opportunities on the horizon that I feel confident in sharing.
At the end of March I have the opportunity to work with one of my all time favored bands, Ra, when they play at The Forge in Joliet. I wish I could time travel back to the day i found their CD on the ground and heard their music for the first time. It’d be most excellent to tell myself that one day I’d get the chance to meet and work with them!
The other opportunity involves a conversation I had with another musician, Jaret Reddick of Bowling for Soup, and if all goes well I will be headed up to The Rave in Milwaukee to see this legendary band perform some of my favorite songs that loaded up my .mp3 players throughout high school. How exciting!
Last, but far from least; I will be attending/working the yearly school tournament in Racine for Chays Taekwondo photographing the tournament for my second year in a row. It always amazes me watching these fierce competitors of all ages compete for trophies and of course the board breaking!
